VenueVU provides faculty, staff and students a campus-wide solution for space reservations, event requests, and a centralized University Events Calendar. 


VenueVU is now live for faculty, staff and students to submit event requests and room reservations for many spaces throughout campus:

  • This includes reservations and requests for a majority of campus meeting rooms, event spaces, classrooms, outdoor areas, library spaces, athletic facilities, performance spaces, and more.
  • Room reservations and event requests generally mirror existing policies, i.e. certain rooms will be direct-book, while others require an approval process.
  • Students are only able to reserve or request specific spaces, such as study rooms, while faculty and staff have more permissions in VenueVU.
  • Events submitted in VenueVU have the option to be visible on a new, comprehensive, University events calendar website.
  • Certain spaces, including Charles Widger School of Law spaces within Scarpa Hall, The Inn at Villanova, and various departmental-specific spaces, are not included in the initial campus launch of VenueVU.
